Our Philosophy

A Unique Approach to Addiction Recovery

Renaissance Ranch is an LDS-based alcohol and Utah drug rehabilitation program. We use the traditional 12 Step approach to treatment combined with Gospel Principles as they relate to alcohol and drug addiction. We believe that true recovery includes spiritual healing. It has been our experience that this approach has proven to be the most successful. We ask that all clients seeking treatment at Renaissance Ranch be open to this aspect of their addiction recovery. Individuals seeking treatment at Renaissance Ranch are not required to be active members of the LDS faith or any other denomination. Our staff and our program is respectful of all religious backgrounds.

Renaissance is an old Latin word, which means the revival of intellectual, spiritual, or physical achievement and vigor. When a person undergoes recovery, they are in a sort of renaissance of their own lives. At Renaissance Ranch, we are a top Utah LDS drug and alcohol rehab facility that is committed to providing its residents with professional, private service and compassionate treatment. Our secluded ranch estate is designed to promote healing and recovery through an atmosphere of love, support and respect.

12-Step Treatment With An LDS-Base

Our treatment program, while specifically catered to our own values, is heavily inspired by the 12-Step program, which was made famous for its use in Alcoholics Anonymous. We are drawn to the 12-Step methodology because of its careful progression through the psychology of an addict, and its usage of the acceptance of a higher power to help power recovery.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest in your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
