Common questions

Frequently asked questions

We treat drug and alcohol addiction in adult men — including alcohol, opioids, methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and prescription drugs — alongside the trauma, anxiety, and depression that so often travel with addiction.

For more than 25 years we've combined clinically proven therapy with an authentic 12-Step approach and faith-centered principles. We're owned and operated by people who have walked the road to recovery themselves, and our Band of Brothers alumni community supports men for life. Our outcomes are tracked and audited by a third party (Vista Research Group).

Our program is Gospel-centered and built on the 12 Steps, which recognize turning your life over to a higher power as you understand it. You do not need to be a member of the LDS faith or any denomination — our staff and program are respectful of all religious backgrounds. We simply ask that you be open to the spiritual aspect of recovery.

Renaissance Ranch programs are for adult men. Our women's-only sister program, Renaissance Refuge, serves women in Heyburn, Idaho. We believe men and women experience addiction differently and heal best in gender-specific care.

Renaissance Ranch has treatment locations across Utah and Idaho. We have a secluded residential ranch in Bluffdale, Utah, set in the Rocky Mountains, and we offer residential and outpatient programs at locations throughout both states — so men can begin recovery close to home. Call us and we'll help you find the location and level of care that fits your situation.

Yes. We accept Medicaid (Utah and Idaho) as well as most major insurance providers — including TRICARE, SelectHealth, Cigna, Aetna, and many others — and will verify your coverage for free. Call (855) 736-7262. All communication is 100% confidential.

Admissions runs 24/7. The first step is a phone call for a pre-assessment review. From there we schedule an assessment and help you choose the right program. Many men begin within a few days of their first call.

Recovery is a lifelong journey, so our support doesn't end at graduation. The Band of Brothers is our lifetime alumni network — weekly dinners and meetings (including online), monthly meetups, and ongoing aftercare. Many of our staff are alumni themselves.
