Katie Barnes is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and lifelong horsewoman who integrates her therapeutic expertise with her passion for horses to help clients heal from the depths of addiction, trauma, and emotional pain. She began riding as a child and has competed in a variety of disciplines; today, she enjoys team sorting, ranch horse events, and mountain riding with her family. As Clinical Director at Renaissance Refuge, Katie leads with compassion, collaboration, and a commitment to continual learning. Both in mental health and in horsemanship.
