Working with those in recovery, I admire the strength, bravery, and determination that it takes to battle the disease of addiction. For over 10 years I have had the privilege of working in SUD treatment. Over this time I have transitioned from my involvement as a support staff to engaging with individuals as a Licensed Masters Social Worker, providing mental health treatment in one on one and group therapy contexts. I specialize in trauma processing by utilizing Accelerated Resolution Therapy. My work also integrates therapy modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mind Body Bridging to provide skills of emotional regulation and a cultivation of values based recovery. I approach treatment with curiosity and respect, helping individuals understand the “why” behind patterns so change feels sustainable rather than forced.
